Dr. Kim is proud to offer quality health care for women specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Kim attended the University of Southern California as a Trustee Scholar and graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Physiology and Biophysics and her medical degree at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.While in medical school, Dr. Kim was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and graduated in the top ten percent of her class. She returned to Southern California for her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center and was given the Louis H. Smith, M.D. Humanitarian award. During her residency, Dr. Kim also practiced at clinics serving the local community where she developed a proficiency in medical Spanish.Having grown up in a Korean family, Dr. Kim is also fluent in Korean.Dr. Kim is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Texas Medical Association.

Upon completion of residency, Dr. Kim dedicated herself to private practice and advancing obstetric and gynecologic care. She started practice in Flower Mound, Texas and then moved to Frisco in October of 2011 in order to be closer to family. Dr. Kim’s goals are to give thorough, compassionate and evidence based care and to build long-term relationships with her patients.  She strives to provide personalized, comprehensive medical and surgical treatment for all of her patients.

When not at work, Dr. Kim enjoys an active lifestyle that includes playing volleyball, skiing, traveling and playing with her border collie, Bode, whenever she has the opportunity. Dr. Kim is a passionate USC football fan, stemming from her days as a student athletic trainer during her undergraduate years at USC. Dr. Kim recently married her husband, Sean, whom she met in Los Angeles. Sean is a Dallas native and they are delighted to live in a new and growing community with family close by.
